I used to play with this toy at my grandma's house in the early 80s. I doubt she still has it, but I think Im going to keep a keen eye out for one on my thrift or antique store-capades.
I love the 70s-80s fashion and hair styles that this toy celebrates - these plates would be great for many an art project or just for fun & nostalgia when friends come over!
If I find a set, I'll post sketched designs!

I had this!!! I loved it. I might actually still have it floating around somewhere... hrmmm, that would be a lot of boxes to go through.
lili,
this comment has nothing to do with this post. I ran across your blog while checking my son's blog and when I saw your movie list and penchant for single malt scotch, I knew I had to recommend my favorite film. It is Local Hero, an overlooked jewel by Bill Forsyth and all music by Mark Knopfler.
All the best,
Richard
This is so random, I love it! Just added Local Hero to my queue - thanks for the recommend Richard!
I think we might be twins. Or at the least, you are me from either the future or another dimension. Btw, do you have any lotto number advice? *wink wink nudge nudge say no more sat no more*
I used to have a version of this (probably later 80s) and LOVED it.
Oh, I had this too! *swoons*
I so remember playing with this too!! sadly I think today's version is on the computer.... or made by Bratz dolls!!!
